Inspired Partnership were appointed to provide feasibility options for a new Pastoral Hub and Classroom within the recently vacated Design Technology space, following the successful completion of the new Design Technology building.
These refurbishment works formed part of the original Design and Build contract for the new DT building. Being an old DT space, significant alterations and improvements were required, which included new mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems (MVHR), new fire alarm and lighting and power installations, as well as new floor coverings, ceilings and plastering to the old brick walls.
Together with replacement doors and windows.
The project was carried out within a very restricted area of the school and within a live school environment. Close liaison and regular communication with end users were key to the successful delivery of this exciting project, which was also delivered within the schools budget.
