Inspired recently attended a public consultation event for an on-going masterplan redevelopment in Portreath, Cornwall. Providing architectural and principal design services, Inspired have assisted our client with the enhancement of the existing site, providing 145no. new units of high-quality accommodation in addition to purpose-made facilities buildings, and a wealth of amenity offers throughout the site location. The existing site is positioned in an extremely prominent location along the Cornish World Heritage Coastline, and is surrounded by a wealth of significant constraints which have led the development of the design proposal, with special attention required in order to provide a successful enhancement of the site.
The enhanced masterplan layout was largely welcomed by the local community and existing residents, and Inspired are now in the process of considering the feedback whilst preparing a full planning submission to the Local Authority in the coming months.
