Works are progressing well at Blundell’s School with re-roofing the Mathematics and Old School buildings including insulation works to improve thermal efficiency. Brackets are now in place along the south elevation ready for the installation of photovoltaic panels on the mathematics building. 139 photovoltaic panels with a capacity of 43 kW will provide an estimated annual energy production of 62.64 MWh and 14.59t of CO2 emission saved.
