The works to update Ward 9 have completed within 4 weeks following asbestos refurbishment and demolition surveys/testing. Areas received new ceiling tiles, LED lighting, replacement cupboards, new boxings and decorations with repairs or new flooring and decorations throughout. Staff areas received new worktops and shelving, with new units and worktops for laundry and staff areas.
